Alan Corbel or 12 lives. This is the story of a boy who was too well behaved, according to his own admission. But then - luckily - came the moment of awakening. The moment when he had to decide for himself and make some hard choices if he wanted to start existing. The maths swot took himself off to Great Britain to train as a stringed instrument maker. Back in France, he tried his hand at slamming and musical composition for the theatre before taking up residence in the world of folk rock. Today, his feet firmly on the ground, this singer-songwriter, inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith and Nick Cave, lovingly unites the universes of folk and rock, with his guitar, ethereal drumming and a poetic sensitivity that is composed of darkness and grace.
