  • Meta-empirical kraut

Behind Hyperculte there’s a two-headed animal. The first head, Simone Aubert (Massicot) plays his drums with pinpoint precision. The other, Vincent Bertholet (Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp), has tamed his double bass and gets it to sing in loops. As much inspired by Brigitte Fontaine as by Tristan Tzara, they both open their mouths to produce repetitive and inspired litanies, which produce a sort of hypnotic fireball, powerful and meditative. Between post-punk experimental, kraut psyche and techno reminiscences, welcome to a contagious, organic and contemplative trance.
