- Zapatist ska punk
For more than twenty years the team of Panteón Rococó - veritable superstars in Mexico – have been enthralling, agitating, hustling, galvanising their audiences with their own brand of exalted and exalting ska punk, punctuated by frenetic Latin rhythms. After emerging from the alternative scene, the collective devoured stadiums as though they were scoffing a quesadilla. Nine musicians who are transformed into an armada on stage and whose armoury include guitars, saxophone, trombone, trumpet and percussions to name but a few. Politically committed, part-time revolutionaries and Zapatists in spirit and in words, they look set to smash the place to smithereens. Musically speaking, of course.
