- Incandescent cold-wave
As he finds it difficult to give any meaning to his days, he decided to make the night his field of expertise. Paying only lip service to style, Régis whispers and meanders through his lyrics supported by a minimalist musical infrastructure that is almost chilling, but which oozes tropical humidity. He plunges his voice into the vertiginous depths of a cold wave of arborescent delay and racy post-punk. Inspired by some of the most emblematic personalities of the eighties - including the charnel Grace Jones, the febrile Ian Curtis and the immortal Alain Bashung, a thousand reflections and sleepless nights provide an impalpable colour to his art - beautiful and full of anguish. Black indeed, but quite dazzling.
