- Electro dream pop laboratory
Under the grey damp skies of England, Django Django seem to have been born with a mission: to produce a sky infused with light. They started by tinkering sounds in their cellar in east London, and soon came to notice thanks to the light shining from their universe, one that lies somewhere between a futuristic psych laboratory and a curiosity shop of pop memorabilia run by the Beach Boys and Tame Impala. Amateurs of solar flights and of kraut, rock, electro and dream pop, their third album Marble Skies, hot off the press, has secured Django Django’s reputation as the big bosses of absolute, uninhibited pop.
