• Iceland
  • Geothermic blues rock

On the one hand, Iceland and its 300,000 habitants. On the other, the United States, the country of excesses. And in between the two, Kaleo. These four childhood friends from the environs of Reykjavik, packed their bags and headed for Texas. Between rock, folk and blues, they draw inspiration from the mystical atmosphere of the fjords and the sweaty heat of the desert. Their album A/B reveals this duality: their heart sways between racy songs and graceful ballads. But it would take much more than the two sides of this album to illustrate the virtuosity of the group, who juggle with rocky riffs, the Northern Lights and the dust of Austin.
