Kid Francescoli

  • France
  • Vaporous electro pop

There is something vaporous, ineffable, imperceptible in the music of Kid Francescoli, as though the singer from Marseille were inhabited by a gloomy melancholy.  His autumnal pop using keyboard arpeggios from another age, cottony beats, dry and vintage drumming, sounds like mysterious aerial voices whispering ever closer to our souls. You can feel the French influence: Air or Sébastien Tellier are not far away, but in a more indolent version, cradled by the sunlight that descends on Marseille, leaving the night to agitate the heart of the composer.
