- Sulphurous rap
Lorenzo, aka l’Empereur du Sale, a mustachioed urban hick in a sunhat and tinted glasses, appeared in 2015 as a sort of pop-up: with his white-trash attitude, a flair for the literary and the lewd and some sleazy videos, he broke records on the internet in a matter of seconds. 70 million views on YouTube later, he now performs in the limelight, his middle finger raised, rapping his weird and politically incorrect lyrics to delirious crowds. Rapper, boaster and knob, Lorenzo is an unlikely shyster from the stars, taking the mickey out of French rap with masterful aplomb. Bad taste with a wry smile.
