  • Latin-Catalan festivities

With four continents and some twenty-three countries already explored, the Catalans of Txarango have become a World Village to themselves. Their music - with its strong Latin American references and festive, devilishly strong Latin American influences - draws its rhythms and melodies from the son de Barcelona, a musical genre inherited from Cuban rumba, which they merge at will with reggae, ska and punk. While giving pride of place to the Catalan language, their songs - deeply committed - hum, whisper, scream and dance in unison, restoring to music its most magical power: that of changing the world.
