To define Balkan Beat Box as music from the Balkans would be like calling AC/DC electricians. The group can claim a whole range of influences and their music is inspired as much by Klezmer and Latin sounds as by turbo-folk and hip-hop. The highly improbable result of this global resonance is then cut up, hashed and restructured by electronic kick and snare which galvanise the music and transform it into something outrageously festive and feverish.
