It was in the early 1990’s that the electronic duo from England first hit the British club circuit. In 1995, the Dust Brothers became ChemicaI and invented, with others (The Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim) a completely new sound: the big beat, one of the missing links in the great chain of sound linking rock and the recent electronic music explosion. This infusion was an instant success and soon the whole of Europe was moving to the pummelled distorted sounds and thick rhythms of the Chemical Brothers. Some 15 years and 9 albums later – including the latest to date "Further" (2010) – the duo have become a music phenomenon, capable of transforming tranquil Swiss meadowland into an open air dance floor!
