Cie Acidu in "La chorale de St-Fulbert"

France

In order to repair the clock tower of his church (operation “10,000 tiles for my clock tower”), father Antoine Tricot, a village priest, has decided to raise money with a recital of previously unpublished songs, which represent a sort of naïve “Gloria” of all the little things that crop up in our everyday lives. At first somewhat intimidated, each member of the choir starts to sing and dance with all their strength and faith, but little by little – the natural order of things being restored - the errors, the frustrations and the pettiness of each one start to emerge and then frankly take over. The Choir then turns into a rocky vessel shaken by distress, giggles, and disputes that Father Tricot tries his best to nip in the bud in order to get to the end of the concert. (Tuesday to Sunday)
