Cie Colbok in "Lâcher de Ballerines" (Ballerina Drop)
Three ballerinas in tutus, refugees from the conservatoire, leave their music box. Curious, intrepid, mutinous and maladroit, they discover real life at last: street life. The dance steps are resolutely classical in this impromptu ballet, which offers us an instant of pure imagination, the dream of a little girl in a world of adults. In this poetic exercise, out of the reach of the dogmatic conservatory, the dancers proceed with absurd finesse, as they perform a series of drunken pas de deux and audacious lifts. For Colbok, everything is or becomes dance.
