Les Arrosés in "Les Wells Brothers"

France

This delightful show dissects the charm and fertility of indefatigable human folly, the very same that keeps the world in a state of perpetual youth. This trio, versed in the various disciplines of circus arts, use juggling, acrobatics, hand to hand and vaulting with the Korean board. Agreeing to disagree about a lollipop or a soft toy, the boss watches over proceedings to make sure everything goes smoothly. However, there’s always a doubt, a hitch, a crack and a boom! In the show Arrosés-style, Michel Dallaire’s direction works towards a climax as he highlights the clown-like talents of the three protagonists. Circus techniques are only a pretext for a series of increasingly comical situations, a succession of hilarious scenes that reveal the main theme of the show. Childishness, conflicts, “grievances”, jokes, laughs, complicity are all possible, as sentiments and emotions dictate the rhythm of this moment of simple and sincere comedy. (Tuesday to Sunday)
