"When I tell people that I sing in Arabic, I can see faces and doors closing". Dividing her time between England, France and Egypt, Natacha Atlas is a real world map whose mission is to reunite Western and Oriental cultures through her fusion music. She will be presenting her latest album, "Mounqaliba", but also playing songs from Oum Kalsoum, Fairouz, as well as tunes from Egyptian popular festivals. Her music should be savoured like a delicate and tasty pastry with honey and almonds, washed down with a cup of Earl Grey on a Parisian café terrace.
