In 2008, ten years after the break-up of NTM, Kool Shen and JoeyStarr decided to reform the group for a series of concert-events that packed out the Bercy venue in Paris no less than five times! Although only meant to be a temporary reunion of this turbulent duo, the reforming of the group seems to have permanently reconciled both of them with their original love of performing. The legendary flagship of the Parisian rap scene, with red-hot hits such as “Paris sous les bombes”, “La fièvre” and “Ma Benz”, started off denouncing a social climate wracked by inequality, injustice and racism. Almost twenty years later, the situation has changed little, and their message and tireless energy have lost nothing of their pertinence.
