Olivia Ruiz made her own very individual mark right from the release of her debut album, “J’aime pas l’amour”. Influenced by the Têtes Raides and Rita Mitsouko, she has created a very realist version of French chanson that regularly flirts with rock ambiances. A very unusual voice that she uses to perfect effect in order to deliver some often very funny, always-mischievous lyrics. Her third album, “Miss Météores”, allows this playful artist to reveal her talents as singer-songwriter, penning all her French lyrics and composing music with Mathias Malzieu, her partner and the lead singer with Dionysos.
