Mischievous and playful, accompanied on stage by four small dolls, Oy is a real surprise package. This singer with her Swiss and Ghanaian origins, records for the Creaked label, plays with Filewile and took part in the Stade project. As a solo performer, she has opened up a little world of wonders in which hip hop, electro and experimental improvisation combine with a little help from some very improbable accessories that she uses to launch her other-worldly samples. With this beautifully crafted fusion of tales and trip hop, Oy gives the impression of not wanting to grow up… and so much the better for us!
