Widdershins is not a sect practising Celtic or pagan rituals, just a trio from the Côte region of Lake Geneva playing rock music that comes in to its own once the sun has dipped behind the horizon… Its members say that their music represents imaginary abstract landscapes which they conjure up with the help of discordant vocals and guitars, obscured by various sound effects and minimalist drumming and bass, driven by a kind of repetitive angst. From the ashes of Private Garden rises a dark and belligerent monster awaiting the full moon so that it can feed on our brains.
