The Festival Organization Committee (FOC) decided, after its February 7th meeting, to bring radical changes to three stages. These changes have been made in order to improve visual and audio comfort for the crowds at the Chapiteau, the Club Tent and the Détour.
Saturday night in Zurich, Paléo won the Swiss Nightlife Award for best "Big Event". The organization is very happy to have been awarded this prize, rewarding the many volunteers who work every year to make the festival a unique and successful event.
How sad it is to see this great man leave us. Claude Nobs' passion for music put Montreux on the map. He created a festival out of ambition for his town. The entertainment world loses a reference and Montreux will miss this incredibly generous person. Many festivals, Paléo being one of them, owe a lot to this amazing creator. The organization sympathizes with the grief of his families, his friends and the team of the Montreux Jazz Festival. RIP Funky Claude!
