From 8 to 11 January 2019, Paléo Festival Nyon will present its innovative participatory digital project at the CES in Las Vegas. This is the first time a music festival has presented a project at one of the world's leading trade shows dedicated to technological innovation.
An experience of collective multimedia sharing
Driven by a constant desire to innovate and surprise its Festival-goers, Paléo will present its creation at the beginning of January in the Pavilion organized by Présence Suisse at CES in Las Vegas. This is the first time that a music festival has presented a project at one of the most important trade fairs dedicated to technological innovation in consumer electronics.
The Las Vegas event will be a unique opportunity for the Festival to exhibit and test an interactive experience that will allow spectators to be the creators of a life-size digital work. The latter will evolve in real time on the screens of the 2019 Festival. The interface was developed in collaboration with the Zurich-based video game design office Fusion Robot, representatives of a booming digital arts industry in Switzerland.
Paleo and technological innovation
Paléo is positioned as a major player on the technology market in the field of music festivals. It was one of the first to test the blockchain system on a sample of 10,000 tickets. It has also developed a specific tool for festival management and security (SEM), as well as a platform for managing video rights and interviews (Mease). Both have been successfully used for several years by other Swiss and European festivals. Paléo is delighted today to present an innovative way of using technology, serving both art and the way festival-goers experience the event.
The project can be discovered at the Swiss Pavilion, Eureka Park, Sands Expo and Convention Center, G Hall at CES in Las Vegas.
