Paléo on its way to the 45e Parallèle

Dear Festivalgoers, volunteers, artists, sponsors, partners, farmers, suppliers, friends,

Dear all,

Due to the health situation, we must unfortunately announce that the 45th Paléo Festival Nyon will not be able to take place as usual this summer. It is once again a hard blow, but the situation is still too uncertain to serenely consider organising the Festival in its usual form.

❤️ BUT! ❤️

We decided to continue working on a completely different, unique and never-before-seen event on the Asse Plains: the 45e Parallèle.

The 45th Paléo Festival should have been celebrated in 2020 but since the event had to be postponed to the summer of 2021, we are now hoping to bring this jubilee celebration to life in another way. This ground-breaking, Covid-compatible event will feature music, experiences and discoveries, with a reduced capacity and size and an extended duration. The health conditions permitting, it will take place from 8 July to 8 August 2021. Of course, it will be different from the usual Festival, but the soul and spirit of Paléo remain at the heart of the project.

No culture no future

Indeed, we believe that it is essential to keep culture alive and kicking, even in other forms, and all the more so in these difficult times. More to the point, it is essential to keep the whole cultural ecosystem alive: artists, suppliers, companies, local associations and all the partners with whom we have been collaborating for many years.

Information about tickets and passes

Tickets and passes already purchased will remain valid for 2022. Regarding tickets for this summer, the ticket office is currently working on the 2021 edition and will keep the public informed as soon as possible. In the meantime, we would like to warmly thank ticket- and pass-holders for holding on to them. Their patience is the best support to ensure the continuity of Paléo. All buyers will be personally contacted by e-mail.

What about Céline Dion?

A Celine Dion show as part of the 45e Parallèle is unfortunately not possible, but programmers are currently in talks with Céline Dion to postpone her concert. Tickets will of course remain valid for the new date. Ticket holders will be informed as soon as possible!

We would like to thank you dear festivalgoers, volunteers, artists, media, sponsors, farmers, partners, suppliers and more generally all the friends of Paléo for their support and precious trust throughout recent months.

We promise to continue to put all our energy and heart into creating a musical event this summer.

Thank you very much for your patience, we’re looking forward to seeing you again!
