La Ruche celebrates its tenth birthday!
La Ruche (the Hive), an area dedicated to street theatre and circus arts, is a treasure trove of delights, humming with creativity, hidden behind the Quartier des Alpes. An unexpected clearing in the woods in which are located a series of "Honeycombs" or alveoli, the name given to the various performing spaces, installations and exhibitions that make up the hive. La Ruche is an open space that exposes some original, raw, surrealist artists.
This year, several accommodation choices will be available allowing you to spend some memorable rock and roll nights at Paléo. In addition to the traditional free campsite, the Festival is also proposing a camper van with much improved services (tariffs apply for all camper vans), as well as the Camping Pal'Asse (various tariffs depending on the choice of your picturesque temporary home).
Aware of its social responsibility, Paléo Festival is committed to supporting a number of social and charitable organisations. Every year the Festival provides a space on the site for NGO’s thus permitting them to inform the public of their activities and raise awareness amongst festivalgoers about the causes they are defending. This summer, come and meet Swissaid, the Festival’s charity partner.
