Fully aware of its social responsibilities, Paléo is committed to supporting a range of charitable and socially active organisations. Every year, the Festival invites two NGO’s to take part in the event so that they can inform festivalgoers about the causes they defend and raise public awareness. This year we invite you to discover Nouvelle Planète, charity-partner of the Village du Monde, and Telme, a support service for parents and young people, both present on the Paléo Festival site!

"Fearless and fabulous she is an artist sans frontière" predicted the Sunday Times in December 2012. The Sophie Hunger Band has ever since been rolling through Europe, playing their way into the hearts of a music loving crowd. The new Video "Das Neue" is a reminder of the band's live energy with impressions taken from their 6 day long "occupation" of Berlin in February 2013.

We remind you that the gifted songwriter will open Paléo on the Main Stage on Tuesday July 23. Her concert will be streamed live on www.paleo.ch and Dailymotion. Also on show that day are Neil Young, Phoenix, Alt-J, Two Gallants, Mama Rosin or Gesaffelstein Live.

On Saturday 15th June, just at the start of the summer solstice, the town of Nyon will see itself flooded once again by a host of musicians celebrating the Fête de la Musique. Paléo will again be participating this year, providing a covered stage in Rive, inviting Swiss artists that played at the Festival 2012 or wil play there in 2013.

Active on the French electro scene for almost ten years, the French DJ Kavinsky came to the notice of the wider public in 2010 with "Nightcal", which he wrote for the original soundtrack of the film "Drive". This close collaborator of Mr Oizo and SebastiAn will be presenting a DJ set of his latest album "Outrun" on the Arches stage, a veritable ode to the eighties, smelling sweetly of the leatherette upholstery of vintage automobiles.

The evening of Saturday 27 July 2013 looks like being a hot one as Kavinsky will be sharing the Arches stage with Breakbot Live, whereas Dirtymadsound feat. Oxsa will be guaranteeing a high voltage end to the night at the Club Tent.
