Born and raised in Côte d’Ivoire, Asna describes herself as a musical explorer. Drawing inspiration from the traditional rhythms that underlie contemporary African music, she shakes up the dancefloor with a keen ear for polyrhythmic assemblages, skilfully dishing out a pioneering blend of Ivorian “coupé-décalé”, Angolan dancehall, and experimental African soundscapes in pulsating sets.
