Rock legend

In the rock’n’roll hall of fame, Patti Smith sits proudly alongside Keith Richards and Bruce Springsteen, with whom she wrote her most famous song: Because the Night. For decades now, the soberly elegant godmother of punk has been performing with disarming sincerity and simplicity. Poetic realism could hardly hope for a better ambassador, with her false nonchalance and true convictions. She’ll be playing an exceptional quartet, surrounded by her son and guitarist Jackson Smith, drummer and founder of the British band Polar Bear Seb Rochford and Tony Shanahan, her loyal bassist and keyboard player since 1996. Pure class.
