Barlovento Sur is a Swiss-based group dedicated to the creation and dissemination of Latin American folk music. The band's repertoire is essentially drawn from Chilean and Argentinian culture, and includes traditional rhythms such as the cueca, the zamba and the chacarera, set to an aesthetic influenced by contemporary music. First a duo, now a quartet, it's their new songs that the band will be playing at Face Nord.
