Sami Galbi says so himself: he aims to invite his audience to a celebration with an atmosphere as intoxicating and intense as that of a North African wedding! A true Jack-of-all-trades, the Lausanne-based singer composes, sings, dances, produces and even designs his own sets. With the help of analogue machines and a guitar, he infuses the traditional genres of raï and chaâbi with a contemporary twist and a feel-good sense of humour. His first solo project took off at full speed in 2024, boosted by his single Dakchi Hani, which set Belleville alight at Paléo last year.
