Charitable partners
Every year, Paléo teams up with a range of charitable partners active in the fields of sustainability, youth, and a more equal world. The Festival invites the public to discover and support these positive initiatives.
At the Paléo Festival Nyon, Caritas Genève and Caritas Vaud join forces to offer a stand that is committed, lively and welcoming to all.
Active on a daily basis alongside people living in precarious situations, Caritas works locally to improve living conditions, foster independence and strengthen social ties.
The stand invites you to explore a selection of second-hand clothing and accessories. Each item tells a story of a different way of consuming, more sustainable and more solidarity-driven.
To make the experience last a little longer, step up to the giant Jenga. Each brick bears a word linked to one of Caritas's themes, connecting social and human issues in a playful way.
A stand to browse, play, chat… and discover how, together, we can make a difference close to home.
Every year, Paléo collaborates with a local association linked to the destination of the Village du Monde. This year, Sea Shepherd is in the spotlight.
Founded in 1977, Sea Shepherd is an NGO dedicated to the preservation of marine ecosystems around the world. Where laws exist but struggle to be enforced, the organisation steps in directly. Entirely volunteer-run and funded through donations, it is now active in around twenty countries.
At Paléo, Sea Shepherd will be on hand to raise public awareness, offer workshops and photographic exhibitions exploring how marine ecosystems function, and sell its merchandise, with all proceeds going directly towards funding its campaigns.
Come and visit them at the Village du Monde throughout the festival!
Founded in 2009 on the initiative of Paléo Arts et Spectacles and active in the district of Nyon, the Equiléo Foundation supports cultural, social and youth-focused projects.
By promoting dialogue between communities and the values of tolerance and respect, more than 700 events, projects or initiatives have been supported by the foundation since its creation, thanks in part to the generous tableware donations made by the public.
