When the line-up hits the screen
Maybe we first discovered them mid–bingewatch, controller in hand, or in front of a giant screen with popcorn. This year, several artists from the line-up have slipped their tracks into cult films, series and video games. Enough to turn a fight scene, a highpressure match, or a lively boat ride on the Seine into something truly epic.
Twenty One Pilots
It’s hard to imagine Suicide Squad without Heathens. The track was everywhere: over two billion streams on Spotify, billions of views on YouTube, and a chorus that became a worldwide anthem. The duo managed to create the perfect sound — one that fits the film’s universe entirely, yet stands strong as a global hit in its own right. At Paléo, we’ll get that same energy, but don’t worry: you don’t need to be an antihero to enjoy it.
Balu Brigada
If So Cold rings a bell, that’s no coincidence: the track appears on the FIFA 25 soundtrack (yes, we’re still not quite ready to call it EA FC). Which means the New Zealand duo has already made millions of players run before even setting foot on the Plaine de l’Asse. So Cold is one of those choruses that sticks in your head — perfect for scoring in the 90th minute or belting out arminarm at a festival.
Eivør
When you need music fit for Norse gods or warriors on the march, you call Eivør. The Faroese singer composed the soundtracks for the video game God of War and the series The Last Kingdom. Her voice and artistic universe feel tailormade for epic battles and mistcovered landscapes. At Paléo, no need for the Leviathan Axe or a Viking helmet: her presence alone is enough to stir up storms.
Vanessa Paradis
We all remember La Seine, the tender ballad from the animated film A Monster in Paris. A song that drifts like a summer evening along the riverbanks — delicate and timeless. Moving effortlessly between cinema and music, Vanessa Paradis has crossed the decades with the same elegance, proving that a voice can become a character on screen in its own right.
