- From Saturday at 10.00 PM until Monday at 05.00 AM
Tourbuses do not require a night‑driving or Sunday permit.
Please take these restrictions into account when planning your itinerary and schedules in and out of Switzerland.
Inform us as early as possible by filling this form if your truck needs to travel during these hours so that we can request the necessary permits.
Swiss regulations – Weight & dimensions :
- Maximum authorized total weight for semi‑trailers: 40 tons
- Maximum authorized height: 4 meters
Trucks exceeding these limits may be stopped at the border, which can result in additional costs for the Artist.
The Festival cannot be held responsible for any delays or fines issued at Swiss customs.
⚠ IMPORTANT – For trucks travelling via the San Gottardo Tunnel
Swiss authorities may declare a “red phase” during heavy traffic. This results in a complete closure of the San Gottardo tunnel entrance for all trucks over 3.5 tons, for the entire duration of the red phase.
Unfortunately, there is no way to predict when this may occur, nor to influence the authorities.
