A free-access area right next to the Festival, where a funfair, food and craft stalls, cosy bars and all kinds of entertainment welcome you every day free of charge from 12pm to 4am!

Quartier Libre is free!

No ticket needed — entry to Quartier Libre is free! Located between the Festival and the Campsite, Quartier Libre is open every day from 12pm to 4am.

So what's on at Quartier Libre?

Everything happens at Quartier Libre! Sample the delicious dishes from the many food stalls, browse the craft stands, join in games and activities, get caught off guard by street theatre, and warm up for the night ahead!

Whether it's a lunch break, an afternoon stroll or a post-work wind-down — whether you live in the area, work here or are here for the full Paléo experience — the doors of Quartier Libre are wide open!

Games and activities for kids and big kids alike!

Games are available on a free-play basis Monday to Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. The children's area is open every day from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Take part in one of the daily competitions and win 2 Festival tickets plus loads of goodies. Yeah! (Sign-ups from 12pm to 1:45pm, competition starts at 2pm.)

Monday 21 July
  • DJ set by Lausanne-based Sol Two to keep you dancing into the early hours — before the Festival even opens! 

Samedi 25 juillet : participation de la guggenmusik des Cradzets, une guggen familiale et inclusive pour animer l’après-midi.  

Saturday 25 July
  • Appearance by guggenmusik Les Cradzets, a family-friendly and inclusive guggen band to liven up the afternoon.

  • Free play : board games, table football, table tennis, darts 
  • Tournaments: pétanque, hopscotch, blind test, bowling, table tennis, table football… tickets and goodies to be won!
