Transport

Train ◆ On foot ◆ Bus ◆ Bike ◆ Pony ◆ Car

The Festival is situated in Nyon, Switzerland, between Geneva and Lausanne, near the magnificent Léman Lake.

It is easily accessible by public transport, even during the wildest hours! Practical information for people with disabilities is available in the "Accessibility" section.

Public transport

It is easy to come to Paléo by public transport! During the Festival week, we work in collaboration with NStCM-TPN, CarPostal, CFF, TCS, TL and TPG, to set up additional lines and best serve the region and several cities in Romandy.

On foot or two wheels

If you are near the Festival, biking or walking are probably your best bets.

On foot

Paléo encourages soft mobility, especially walking, with a well-lit and well-maintained itinerary linking the Festival to Nyon railway station and the village of Trélex! Allow around half an hour's walk in either direction.

By bike

Eco-friendly, practical and undeniably stylish, cycling is becoming the preferred way to get to the Festival. The 2026 edition is putting bicycles in the spotlight and inviting cyclists of all kinds to pedal their way to the party! Bikes are more than welcome at Paléo!

Routes and access

This year, with the help of Pro Vélo and the support of Police Nyon Région, Paléo is highlighting the best routes to reach the Festival entrance, even authorising access to paths that are usually closed to traffic. The routes are available below and can be downloaded. For a more relaxed ride, we recommend following the green routes.

Free and secure bike parking

This year, parking areas have been expanded and new bike racks have been installed, increasing capacity to 1,400 bicycles. Particular attention is being given to the Dôme bike park, which is still relatively unknown to cyclists arriving from the upper part of the site (see route below).

The following bike parks are available:

  • Right next to the main entrance for bicycles and cargo bikes (with a dedicated area for cargo bikes);
  • At the north of the site, directly next to the “Dôme” entrance;
  • At Parc Chevalin, close to Asse railway station.

Please note that bicycles are not permitted on the NStCM train shuttle services.

A warm welcome with Pro Vélo

Members of Pro Vélo, easily recognisable by their red T-shirts, will welcome you in the bike parks and help you find a free space. This year, their presence will be reinforced at the Dôme and Parc Chevalin sites.

As a welcome gift, cyclists will receive an apple. Yum!

Having a technical issue? No problem TCS is installing a Bike rEpaiR station at the bike park near the Festival entrance.

Ride together in good company

Following a successful first experience last year, Paléo is continuing its collaboration with Welo, the bike taxi company, to organise friendly and eco-friendly tuk-tuk convoys.

More information coming soon.

Please Note! Parking two-wheelers outside these designated parking areas may disrupt traffic flow or cause obstructions. Badly parked two-wheelers run the risk of being towed away at their owners' expense, just like cars!

Car or motorbike

Getting to the Festival

In order to guarantee the flow of traffic, please follow the special road signs and any instructions issued by traffic wardens.

  • For people coming from Lausanne, it is recommended to get off the motorway at the Gland junction (junction 12). The Nyon junction is too often saturated.
  • For people coming from Geneva it is recommended to get off the motorway at the Nyon junction (junction 11).

Leaving the Festival

At the end of the last concert on the Grande Scène, many people leave the festival site at once, sometimes creating a long wait in the car parks. The best solution to avoid this: don’t leave the festival immediately and enjoy the concerts that are still on, or take advantage of the (syrup) bars still open.

In partnership with the company KeepUpCar, we are offering this year the paid Night Angel service, which allows festivalgoers who do not feel fit to drive to be driven home in their own car by a trained driver. The service can be booked via nightangels.ch and is accessible from a tent located at the bottom of the North parking area.

Parkings Paléo

Free parking areas for are provided for you. They are situated close to the Festival site. These car parks may be subject to closure in the event of heavy rain. Replacement parking will be provided in the town of Nyon and in surrounding areas and a special shuttle bus service will operate to and from the Festival site.

Please note: any vehicle parked outside the designated areas will be removed at the owner's expense. Tents and caravans are not tolerated in the car parks.

Parking in the town of Nyon

To those people who prefer parking their cars in the town centre, Paléo recommends the Perdtemps open-air car park (free of charge from 18:30 from Monday to Friday, from 17:00 on Saturday and all day on Sunday) or the railway station car park (parking de la Gare, CHF 1.-/h from 17:00 to 7:00, max CHF 5.-). From there, you can reach Paléo Festival free of charge by the Nyon-St-Cergue train.

In any case, consider carsharing, cycling, walking, and our wide range of public transport options. It is not too late to help us reduce Paléo’s carbon footprint!

By motorbike

It is also possible to get to the Festival by motorcycle or by scooter.

Three parking zones have been designated for motorbikes:

  • coming from Geneva: at the Parc Chevalin
  • coming from Lausanne: follow "Festival", through Vich and Coinsins
  • coming from Nyon: on the route de St-Cergue, Vuarpillière area

Please Note! Parking two-wheelers outside these designated parking areas may disrupt traffic flow or cause obstructions. Badly parked two-wheelers run the risk of being towed away at their owners' expense, just like cars!
