For this year’s event, HES-SO students have created an imposing and monumental set design inspired by the myths and legends of the Matterhorn. The front reveals a sturdy structure that becomes delicate and almost ethereal when viewed from a different angle. At night, light projections and LED strips will be used to create dynamic visual effects, accentuating the paradoxical nature of this mythical mountain. The structure uses light yet robust materials, combining wood with metal and fabrics to ensure both solidity and transparency. Nestling within it is the Face Nord music stage and a series of stands with a host of activities that will incite the public to reflect on how deceptive perceptions can be.
