    Exemption from payment

Paléo is often a family affair. That’s why admission is free for children under 12. From the age of 12 up to 18, young people benefit from the student rate. Please note that, in accordance with laws and police regulations, access to the Festival grounds is prohibited after 10 p.m. for school-aged children who are not accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. In addition, access to the Campsite is denied to anyone under 16 who is not accompanied by a parent who is also staying at the Campsite.

"La Luciole" Daycare (up to age 8)

Located by the riverside and away from the large crowds, the "La Luciole" daycare offers free games and activities for children up to 8 years old. Parents may leave their children there for up to 3 hours, provided they are potty-trained. On the programme: slides, treasure hunts, juggling, mini disco, crafts, and plenty more. Because it's not just the grown-ups who leave with stars in their eyes!

Open daily from gate opening until 10 p.m.

La Plage (Ages 12 to 18)

Sand, parasols and deckchairs—hard to believe you're at Paléo! And yet, right next to the HES-SO area lies La Plage, a warm and friendly space dedicated to 12- to 18-year-olds. Games and activities are on the programme, alongside a bar that focuses on low-priced non-alcoholic drinks. Staying refreshed without breaking the bank—now that’s the perfect combo for soaking up the sun under the coconut trees!

Open daily from gate opening until 3 a.m.

    Frangins & Frangines

Easily recognisable by their red T-shirts featuring the FF logo, the Frangins & Frangines roam the Festival grounds to connect with the younger audience, offering support and a listening ear. They distribute free earplugs, water, condoms and ID tags for children (on which parents can write their contact details). Through their mediation role, their aim is to ensure that festival-goers have the best evening possible by working with various prevention and safety services. The team is also available to support families and any festival-goers in need of information, someone to talk to, or more in-depth help that may require coordination with other Paléo services.

    Autour de Minuit

This bar, located near the Campsite, is open 24/7. It provides a welcoming place for rest, support and listening for festival-goers who need it. Affordable options such as soup, syrups and bircher muesli are available.
