Charitable partners

Each year, Paléo joins forces with a series of charitable partners active in the fields of sustainability, youth and a more egalitarian world. The Festival invites the public to discover and support these positive initiatives.

La Garenne Animal Park

Paléo is delighted to have La Garenne as a charity partner for this 2024 festival! A three-hectare animal park located in the Canton of Vaud, in the foothills of the Jura between Lausanne and Geneva, La Garenne offers breathtaking views of the Alps. Thanks to its collection of native species and relevant educational programmes, the park is working to raise public awareness of the challenges posed by the erosion of biodiversity. It also helps to breed species in decline with a view to reintroducing them into the wild. Lastly, the park houses a care centre dedicated to treating, rehabilitating, and, where possible, releasing injured wild animals. Most of the park’s animals come from the care centre when they are no longer able to return to the wild.

Mostar Rock School

Paléo is delighted to be associated this year with the Mostar Rock School, which will be taking up residence in the Village du Monde. Based in the town of Mostar, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, this school offers a musical education dedicated to young up-and-coming musicians. In its twelve years of existence, more than 1,500 young people have passed through the school's doors, making it a major socio-cultural player. A dynamic, inclusive community that fights inter-community divisions in favour of lasting peace. The group Liron, made up of ten female artists and students, will be performing on the Scène du Pont in the heart of the Village du Monde.

Fondation Equiléo

Created in 2009 at the initiative of Paléo Arts et Spectacles and active in the Nyon district, the Fondation Equiléo supports cultural, social and youth projects. By promoting dialogue between communities and the values of tolerance and respect, over 500 events, projects and initiatives have been supported by the foundation since it was set up, thanks in part to generous donations from the public.
